Hello Everyone! This is my first post/question to the Taco World site, so please bear with my ridiculous question! thanks.
I am about to do my first oil change on my recently purchased 2012 Acc. Cab V6 TRD 4x2 Automatic. I purchased it used with 9000 miles on it. Dealer did the first oil change before I left the lot. Now its time to give my first refill, a go. Anyway I have a question regarding the TRD oil filters. Do they make them for the 2012 v6 ? If so, what is their product ID # and where exactly on the internt can you find them? I cant seem to find them anywhere. If they do make them, would anyone recommend the TRD oil filter or a specific different brand of oil filter over another? If they dont make them or you would recommend a different brand what brand and product id # would you recommend? Also what is everyone's opinion on what specific brand of 5w-30 Synthetic oil to use. FYI I live in Florida, but will be taking my truck with me to Maine starting in early February through May. Thanks so much ahead of time for any response! -Brendan

Trd oil filter part# is p/n PTR43-00080. This is the filter i use and buy mine from trdsparks.com. I like the nut that is on top of the filter makes removal easy.

I like OEM Toyota brand oil filter for the money and Mobil 1 5W30, but the TRD one should be fine and any good brand name oil, just change both every 5K. Welcome to TW.
