Whats the PSI when not idling? The vacuum source should be pulling psi at idle, so as soon as there is neutral pressure in the manifold the psi should spike

Is the vacuum hose to the FPR, sourced post throttle body?

If the gauge shows that it is holding pressure, after engine off, that means the check valve in the pump is working.

I might have missed it, but you're not hooking your FPR to a vacuum source, right?

What my question refers to as well.

@Jstand Pull the vacuum hose off of the FPR, and take a picture of the gauge again.

The vacuum line goes to the TB so if I disconnect it at idle there’s no change but yes connected it lowers the psi when you put throttle. When I first installed the pump months ago the psi was +-50 at idle after putting the injectors and all the trouble with the knock sensor was fixed the pressure was 40-43 psi and now for the last week it’s been less than 30 psi.

Thats wild. Very well could be a fucked pump at this point. Was it ever ran dry? does the pump make a bunch of noise when running?

um, is there someway to have your fpr boost referenced without it seeing vacuum? like are yall running check valves or somethin? from the factory it sees vacuum (at least the 4.0 does) so why would this creat an issue?

No noise that I noticed and never run dry that I know of.
i was just thinking that if it holding pressure then the injectors, fuel rail and lines to the pump must be good no leaks

Unless your fuel filter is extremely clogged from the e85, then there is a pump issue.

All lines being good. Any way you can test the pressure pre fuel filter?

No I don’t have a way to check pressure pre filter but It looks like it’s narrowed down to fuel filter or pump so that’s good.

@Jstand I wrote a tutorial on how to install this pump. Probably irrelevant now that you've been in there already, but here it is anyway.
