All for one wire lol


Now my fans always turn on with the ac instead of waiting for the pressure switch. Also added a indicator light so I know when the fans are on.

What does the diverted look like internally? Is it just a bent piece of sheet metal?

Did you wire it into the AC LED?

 

Just updated the firmware on my mapecu3 to see if that might fix it reading 2.5 psi high... And it didn't... And it erased my tune... Joy

 

Ughhhhh nooooo I tried but I just couldn't get it. I have a switch on the dash marked ac lol. I might again at some point but for now it works.

 

Luckily I have a near identic memory so I got the tune back pretty close before start up and it's probably not much wors than it was before...

I used to could remember virtually everything I saw, heard or read... Not so much anymore

 

I got through Radiology Tech school pretty well with my near photographic memory. I never could retain stuff "forever" like how movies describe it, but for a few days I'd have a clear mental picture that I could just "read" from during exams lol

Like all things though, it's not meant to last, I'm not so good at it anymore.

 

Pretty much. Bent and situated that it splits pretty evenly at the top and bottom of the intercolor in half.

 

I had a boss man in the oilfield that retained it all. Pretty wild as he was older, too. Close to 70. He could spout off every company policy and when it was updated over the previous policy and when and what the old policy was. Could tell me what I put on a daily report 5 months ago and how my punctuation was wrong or how now I can spell. But it had to be written or typed word. Schematics, exploded diagrams, and P&IDs he didn’t retain as long. Reminded me of that ‘Big Fish” movie but with a lot drugs, booze, and whores.

Innovative design. I agree. Quality work has been put into it.

 

Got some picture updates on my friend's 2TR turbo build. May try adapting the cat from his BRZ. Off angles and what-not, so Roadkill fab FTW.



Got to a parts block. Need a flange to connect the down-pipe to the bend for the cat-back section. Reconstituted the screamer exhaust ( which was a bend to exit through the hood of the BRZ, when he purchased a used turbo kit for the BRZ a few years ago) for his down-pipe. Thus the pre-existing bungs, which need to be removed and patched over.



Once the flanges arrive, it will be go time for turbo start-up.

 

I thought it was better to stagger the o2 sensors.

 

Yeah, I don't know why that shop decided on that style of implementation? Strange to have that style bung 18x1.5 for that many exhaust sensors, when that car only has one AFR and one O2. Being in a row like that, they would cause a flow restriction.

There was also one additional bung closer to the flange, which was cut out. 4 total. Very weird.

 

E85 sensor, independent A/F, EGT, ECU o2?

 

EGT's are smaller. E85 are in the fuel line. OEM A/F, gauge A/F, and standalone A/F. Possibly. Still left a spare. Considering the build, the OEM was not used though. This was on a built BRZ engine, using the BW EFR9180 turbo.....Big power build.
