I know when installing the maf calibrator it says to solder it, but has anyone used butt connectors instead??? And if so had any problems?

Might be a good idea to solder it. .02 ohms difference in resistance might actually effect the MAF

I initially used butt end connectors. They came loose and threw a short. My advice would be to take the time and solder.

I soldered mine. I did not cut the wires, just peeled back the sheath and soldered onto it. Cut the one wire you have to splice in between the ECU and the MAF sensor. Works great, no warning lights or issues with soldering.
