Sorry if this was recently answered... I saw this on the OV Tune site under the VF Tuner packages. Does this mean that there are 2.0 VFT files available now somehow?

Second question on making the changes for the gear size. I know that it's just as easy as putting in my new gear size into the Gear Size Differential fields. The weird thing is that for all the 04A61 files I have, they all show 0.80 for the gear sizes. What am I missing here?

Thanks for the update @OVTune Did you get a chance to send out the Tune Packs? I received the Tactrix the other day, but I believe the next step is to request the tune pack...

Thanks - I was literally installing the new version when you posted this. That cleared that up. Are 2.0 tune packs available for all ECU's now? We just need to send in a request?

Thinking to get back to original 2.0 and apply "fixings", but leave airload tables as is. Use only airload per normal gear for accelerator between 20-40%.
    Will this Limit the throttle?

I've found that messing with slip lock destroyed mpg for me. I have not noticed that air load tables kill mpg.

I am running the 2.0 airload tables, so you may not find mpg gains there.

To be fair though, at least in my case I am not sure that its the tune sucking gas, it is probably more that the tune allows me to drive more aggressively, so I do. I need to come up with the self discipline to accelerate as slowly as the stock tune forced me to, to really be able to compare mpgs.

I had the same result with my short lived slip lock experiment. Seems that some have had good results though, so hopefully in time a consensus "sweet spot" emerges.

Yeah, this will affect. I did it in 3rd and 4th for specific reasons, but I don't stay in these gear on freeway.
I think my accelerator : throttle(1:1) ratio is cutting into my beer budget.
The Creator said that there is a power reduction thingy coming, assuming in TCU ($$??). Supposedly we could skip slip lock off mod in 3rd and 4th.

    Hello,

I was wondering if anyone made a 04b31 version of this or how can I be able to change it to that specific ecu id

Are you referring to Airliad Control(2 tables) and acceleration throttle request ?.
I can relate to your struggles.
I got spayed by effing Tesla on Sunday (see my post with the monitor). Dude was confused to see a taco riding his bumber for a few miles. Moron did not what to do. He opted to pull a windshield wash on a lifted truck.
    I gave him a game..
Same would happen to me after a few hours flying an airplane. Everything was sooo slow on the way home..

Yeah I couldn't really tell when slip lock was happening because it didn't change driving characteristics other than taking mpg in sixth. I'm not really sure what the point of slip lock is. Obviously if throttle is more aggressive you're going to burn more fuel. My biggest decrease is in town due to me raising shift points to get my heavy pig rolling. Highway is really good now that I went back to stock 6th gear tc settings.

Yes I am referring to the 2 airload control tables. I have modified the accelerator request to airload table by increasing 20-25% from 2.0 thx.

I drove very responsibly in to work this morning and achieved 22mpg. So I can still achieve the stock numbers if I want.

Still, I notice I am inefficient at 60%+ load and 1800-3000rpm. The stock tune would never run in that state, perhaps for that reason. Maybe thats just how it is, and the drivability and fun factor improvements are worth it. But if I can get some efficiency there, I’d take it.

More torque multiplication but less efficiency than locked; more efficient but less torque multiplication than unlocked.

How do I get my factory tune? In the tune pack it has 04B04_Reg_Stock_Vft BUT I believe it's 2.0 version.
