vF Tuner for the 3.5L Tacoma

vF Tuner key and registry key were sent tou you already.
The only thing left is the tune pack

we are working on that for everyone. in the mean time you are able to access our flash manager if you'd like to.

 

Is it the same as OVTune software?

If not, would it have came in an email? I have not received anything to either of the email addresses used.. also checked junk.

Edit: I receive my OVTune software registry key on March 26, before purchasing vF.

Can somebody chime in with help? I bought the vF Tuner and Tacoma 3.5l Map Pack earlier this week. I got the email from Mat with my Master Key and all of the instructions. I proceeded to download VF Tuner from the link provided and installed it on my computer. When I fill the online registration form that shows up when you first open the program with the information required I get an error saying: “Master Key (Email) not recognized!”. I have tried different combinations of user names and passwords but the error keeps popping up. I sent an email to see if I could get help with the issue but haven’t received a response yet.

@OVTune Just a suggestion:
Why not have the tune packs unlock an ECU family rather than just a single ECU ID. That way future updates from Toyota get support?
Like instead of 04B04 and some possible future 04B05 being separate purchases just make 04B0x unlocked.

Probably won’t happen on a holiday weekend. Be patient.. It will be worth it.

 

Pretty sure he never said when 2.0 final was going to be released. Also, there are currently some minor bugs being worked out from the most recent test files

I think he's talking about the tune packs, not the pf5 files.

 

I know hes talking about the tune pack, he's been crying about not getting what was "directly promised to him by Mat himself" since he first got to this thread......one whole week ago...... even though Mat has given no specific date when they will be released publicly that I'm aware of and anyone who has been with OV for anytime at all knows that even a given date is just a guideline, not a certainty.
You wanna play with a tune, I get it. Get your balls wet with tuning the stock 04B04 tune. That should be a huge upgrade already since he has been on 04B01 since he got the truck. 04B04 is already a massive improvement.
You want performance then upload 2.0 and flash it with FM and enjoy a great tune. Hell, try out 1.05 too to see the difference.
You want to edit 2.0 with VF? you can't right now. It's not available to ANYONE to do so no need to cry about being an upset customer or feeling lied to, it's life, shit happens, no need to be a special somebody with entitlement cause you aren't being singled out. NO ONE got it so just sit and wait like the rest of us.

 

I think he's a new vF customer, so no access to current flash manager tunes. He has to wait for tube packs to come out, but I doubt they will until 2.0 is released for all the flash manager customers. Totally agree, just has to sit tight and wait like the rest of us.

 

If he has a REG key he can download Flash manager and he will be able to flash whatever 2.0 tunes are available.
