    Mine doesn't vibrate. Never did.

No, you wouldn't wrap it. You'd make a cushion to isolate the pedal from the vibrating mass. No, I don't know what the vibrating mass is.

Vibration and rattling are just about the simplest problems to solve, once you figure out what's rattling and why. That can take a while, and requires observation. Asking someone else why your instance of a common widget does something you don't expect isn't likely to solve anything and wastes time. Go look at it. If it's vibrating, find out if it's really vibrating, or is something else vibrating and you feel that through what you thought was vibrating. In other words, don't be lazy. It's lumps of metal/plastic. Are you going to let metal and plastic outsmart you? Are you really going to wrap your gas pedal in Dynamat to solve a cat wrapped around your alternator pulley?

I do have a stiction problem with my accelerator pedal: it binds up 3-4 times between up/down, at random points. That's pretty annoying. Not annoying enough to take it apart and find out why though.

It doesn't vibrate though. That'd be unnerving because it'd mean the firewall is flexing relative to the cab floor. Flexing metal breaks that metal sooner or later. Sucked out through a hole in the firewall is a lousy epitaph.

Unless you work for the NSA.

The pedal fix is incredibly easy! I cut a piece of an old yoga matt to match the pedal base and put it between the pedal and the tin floor and all better. I was prepared to wrap it also but it was not needed in my case.

So I got my 21 3 weeks ago and I wasnt sure if I was feeling anything but I was pretty sure I was because my 16 didnt have any of these feelings. I was having the vibrations on stopping and I was having a weird faint oscillating vibration driving between 35-50. The truck is bone stock with 650 miles. I took it to the dealer this morning and I am happy they called and said they did replicate what I felt and are going to need to order parts and call some hotline during the weekday and I will have to leave it for a few days once I make that appointment when they get the parts. Bummed my 21 has this issue but my 16 was perfect.
My stock 2019 with 6900 miles has the same oscillating vibration although, it continues to 60 plus m.p.h. and at 55 to 60 and you can even hear it resonating thru the cab. Normal characteristic of the Tacoma...
