Hey TW, so i cant seem to find much content about this. Im interested in getting a momo or other name brand wheel such as NRG or Grant for my 2007 tacoma. I'd need to get a quick release and a hub and either buy or create an adapter correct? I understand ill be losing my airbag which is fine with me but any other leads/guides/advice/help will be appreciated!

Just did some digging, I’m in the same process of doing this. On my 07 single cab, NRG seems to make an adapter for 05+ now.

Im trying to do this on my 07 Xrunner, I looked up the part number for that nrg hub adapter and saw that it was for the FRS, is that correct that it will fit properly for 05+ Tacoma's?

The hub I bought is for a 2005 Celica.

Other than that, the installation of the hub and wheel is exactly the same as on almost every vehicle.

Hey thanks for that reply! Would you be able to give me part number to look up for that hub adapter. I'd really appreciate it.

That’s the one I bought. Nice fit and look imo. Glad to help, I love the look of the after market race wheel, one of my favourite aesthetic changes.

I should point out, if there IS a hub specifically for the Tacoma you should probably buy that. I bought the Celica one because at the time there were no Tacoma specific options.

Thanks for the reply. As of right now I've yet to find anything specific for the Tacoma 05+. I've been looking for a while now and this is the closest I've gotten to anything so far. Is there any modifications I have to do with this celica hub?

The one that @Chargin18 posted earlier is a better choice actually. That is one that my friend recently installed and it was perfect fit, the one I used did require a modification to the clock spring now that I think about it.
