    cutting the frame purely for the look of a lifted truck seems alittle bonkers.

    would the truck depreciate in value by cutting the frame? if it does, $1000 price tag for the lift and the depreciation in value of your truck, the math isnt quite adding up here. again just seems crazy to me.

    but what do i know, my truck is stock.

    Exceeds design criteria.

    Of both OE and 98.23% of all aftermarket suspensions used around here.

    Also keep in mind, re warranty issues. When something is dealer installed and we hear 'I have warranty in writing', its not a Toyota warranty. It's a parts warranty from the part supplier and some form of labor warranty from the installing dealer.

    Meaning you can't just stop into any Toyota location and have warranty work on those bits done, nor expect them to be lenient regarding what they might define as collateral damage.

    Why don't you just wait a few months and decide if you really want to do it then. When I first got my Tacoma I thought I wanted to go with a 6 inch lift too, then I really decided against the look. Ended up going with a 3 inch suspension lift and 33's and I think the truck looks absolutely badass. Even with a 3 inch lift it's pretty hard for most people to climb in and out of my truck, I can't imagine how much it would suck for them with a 6 inch lift. Sit on it and then decide. The only thing I have against a 6 inch lift is that you're permanently changing the dynamics of the vehicle. I don't think I'd ever buy a truck with permanent modifications so think about resale value down the line.

    Ive been giving it alot of thought. If I go any lower I won't be happy. I'll be saying damn I really wish i would have gone with the 6 inch. I'e got a suzuki sidekick with a 4 inch body lift. I ended up putting a 3 inch suspension lift on it cause I wanted it taller. 7 inches was perfect for me 20160808_185201.jpg

    That 6 inch lift looks good. I personally think 6 inch lifts look awesome on this truck mainly because its smaller than the full sizes and full sizes to me don't look right on a 6 inch lift.

    Right on. If I had a tundra a 6 inch lift wouldn' be enough. For a tacoma it would be right. I like small trucks jacked up. I like the "rediculous" look

    That's exactly what I meant. On full size its a little too much I guess it also depends on wheel setup too bc I have seen some Tundras run a 6 inch lift and it looks awesome. But for the Tacoma it looks just right. The 3 inch lift on a Tacoma with bigger tires is perfect. Gives you the height of a full size maybe a tad higher!

They'e sold about 45 6 inch lifts on ebay. It cant be too bad everyone is getting it

    Yeah but you can't take your only impression straight from a company trying to sell product. They aren't going to say whether or not they've had issues, they'll just leave that up to you as a customer to find out.

    I'm running 33s with ~2.25" lift.

    Lift =/= clearance.

    What' makes the warranty better. People are saying go with the bds cause you pay for what you get but rough country said for 300 more I can get better shocks if I get the better shocks it will be almost the same amount basicaly
