I ordered weathertech mats and am having some fit issues with the passenger side. The Drivers side lines up nicely on the posts but when i push down on the center of the mat the side of the mat flare up. I know others have had this issue with fit on the 2012-2013 mats. What I want to know is who hasn't had fit issues and if your trucks is auto, manual, access cab, 4door...

I called who I ordered the mats from and they are more than willing to give me my $$$ back, and yes thats great but I want the mats to be right as I had them in my 2011 and they were great!!!

Gotta get down to who screwed up toyota either moved their posts after wt took measurements or weathertech has something screw up. Either way i want correct fitting mats.

You're talking about the floor mat hooks, right? I think they are detachable. Try removing one or both hooks and see if the WT mats stay put.

I have these mats and had no fitment issues with my 2013 DC Auto. I purchased these in October of last year.

I've seen this posted several times. Mine were slightly off, wasn't hard to get it to fit through, just gave it a little tug to slide over while the one side was latched. There are issues on the passenger side for some reason for a lot of folks.

Toyota redesigned the hooks to posts with little twist lock fasteners. I am off by a good half inch. There is no making it fit.

Pretty sure mine were close to that far off, little elbow grease got it to fit. Now I can take them in/out no problems.

I returned mine, had the same problem. The back ones would have needed some cutting also to fit properly.............

Had the same issue with my '13 AC. Ordered the WT floor liners and they fit horribly. I returned them and got the Toyota AW mats, which obviously fit great but are thin and I can tell are going to last no more than a year and also have bad coverage. Come on WT!! Get your stuff together!

It'll probably never be completely fixed. I've seen this problem reported randomly for a while now. Do some searches and you'll find some old posts about it. Those little twist posts only attach to the carpet so they're not that hard to move, makes it difficult to get a 100% solution when making the floor mats I think.

No issues with the Weathertechs I purchased a few weeks ago...put them in a 2013 DC Auto...they were slightly off at first, but once they settled from being in the box they fit perfect...I included the part numbers below...

I just installed mine last night and was surprised to see how poor the pass. side fit and now I read this! Called WT jsut before logging on here and the tech had no idea about the OEM lock feature and said my liners should of come with hardware to hold them in place?? When locked in it even makes the door shut harder. Guess I'll try Husky...

You talked to an incompetent tech then. They know the Tacomas have the locking system for floor mats, that's why they make them the way they do. I have no issues closing my doors.

Here my reply back from WT after sending pics:
    "
    Hi,

It looks like Toyota changed the position of the retaining device during the middle of production. This is an issue that just happened, and I am waiting to here if this will be corrected. At the present time this is the only option available. If you are unhappy we can set up a return for you, please contact me if that is what you’d like to do. Thank you for your interest in Weathertech products. "
