09 dc lb I have all the bells and whistles you can get with the sr5 package and it came with the first aid kit. I went to a local dealer just to test drive a Tacoma and they had this one on the lot. Origionally I was going to get the trd sport but this one was so nice and I planned on getting a lift and tires on my own. I'm sure this was already meantiones but the sr5 isn't a base model

base... found the "wings" on the sides of the trd seats to be uncomfortable on long commutes. plus i dont go wheelin so y pay for things i wont use... the trd or's do look nice tho... still see them rollin by and say to myself maybe i should have... like my sr5 plenty tho

I have a base model access cab. I although I'm more than happy with what I have, I would like to upgrade to the base-model V6 4x4 some time in the future. The off-road does have features that I like, but it also has alot of features that I either don't really care about one way or another (and thus, don't want to pay extra money for), or that I absolutely don't want, and would feel obligated to pay more money to downgrade.

I just bought a 2010 Double Cab with the Off Road package. So far I love the truck except for the gas mileage. only getting 16 in town and 17 on the highway driving the speed limit. I am hoping after the break-in period that it increases some.

The SR5 isn't really a base model truck. You can get one without the SR5 package, and get the manual windows, manual locks and grey grille.
