What’s the consensus of people that actually have pre-paid orders ?

Like you I have $1300 down for stuff .

Hit the credit card dispute button ? Or just wait , cause u have faith in a good family and product and the update release is out soon .

The last email I got was about 17 days ago stating they had just taken on a new fabricator to help speed things up.

I have read through most of this thread but it’s got quite doggy . So skipped to end

Just a thought, but if they’re short funds then won’t a pile of people pulling their orders probably be a death blow?

I mean I have no dog in the fight other than I like their products that I’ve ordered, but if a pile of people dispute the charges won’t whatever they have left evaporate? Which begs the question, why let this hang out in the wind?

They built a fantastic reputation, as "Pelfreybilt Family", by providing not only a superior product, but superior customer service, including responsiveness.
Going dark and leaving others to drop crumbs of info, is like the family member who goes off the deep end on drugs.
You may still love them, but you just can't trust them anymore...

A lot of credit cards have a time limit to claim a dispute. (Like 60 days from statement date). Its something to ask them about even if you don't make a claim.

    Fair enough.
I was unaware that that had been posted Friday evening here on TW.
I only saw the FB post that was copied to here.

That thread got lost in the mix.. didn’t even see it.

In all fairness tho, they can't cancel if no one picks up.

    Continue the doggo onslaught.

I may be the only one, but I don't have much choice. I paid just over $3K with a check... They've got my money and I want THEIR bumpers. Here's to fair winds and calm seas

Latest is they are in tough financial shape and looking for an investor to help them get back to business. No new orders until they work this out.

This is 2018 after all..... Facts dont even matter if you're found guilty in the court of public opinion.

I'm gonna hold off a few days, see what the facts have to say, and then try to see how this all shakes out.

Rumors can get ugly. Dont be ugly

Things. Stuff. Lots of bad decisions.
    Mostly Zip-Ties

I'm going to hold out a bit longer and see what Pelfreybilt has to say. Until they put out anything all we can do is speculate.

Personally, I like to make decisions on known facts.

Whoa. Put down the torch and pitchfork, dude. It's a concern at best, let's not turn it into a witch hunt.

Edit - ok, apparently @Justanotherhemi was making a joke. Mah bad

Aww man! I was going to get their rear swingout.
I hope they make things work out for all of us in need and those in limbo.

Sad because the pelfreys are having trouble. I consider them friends. They came out to Hawaii to hang out. We took Satin and Tyler camping and fishing, and they were great. I wish them the best of luck.
