Custom sliders, Bilstien 5100s in front - 5100's + AAL + TSB in rear, dif drop, LED's in scoop, CB installed in console, flashlight mount, window tint, locking compartment in bed.
Got my bike mounts installed. Got 2 of these mounts, with locks, for $44 on Amazon. Then used 1/4 bolts with some good sized washers (that I used a grinder to flaten on each side so I could slide them into the rail).

    Ready to go!

I got an in-dash navigation system put in today. It's an AVIC-Z140BH. So far I really like it, but I'll need to drive with it a little more to form a more complete opinion.

I had scheduled to get this put in before I realized that the 2013's had a new touchscreen radio standard, so some of the features aren't much (if at all) better than the OEM radio, but it does come with a hardline iPod connection, USB connection, syncs via bluetooth with my iPhone, and gets Pandora. Of course, it also has the navigation feature (the whole reason for buying it really) that the OEM radio didn't have. I didn't want to pay for the Entune package, as this is a cheaper option (as expensive as it was).

If anyone has any questions about this unit, I can try to answer, but it may take me a while as I don't know too much about it yet.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
Thanks. They were on a Mitsu truck that was T-Boned at an intersection. A fine CL find complete with center caps and lug nuts for $60 + 3 "new" (usual story; needed one but got deal on all for) CL find 245/75/16 tires for $140 and $133 for a new tire.

Total cost (wheels, tires, mounting and balance) $140+180+60= $380.

The alloy rims do make a difference in the trucks performance. So far (1 week in) everything is surprisingly good.

Oh, the tires are MASTERCRAFT COURSER STR and the rims are 16x8 PACER.

New rear leaf packs, shocks and very probably a rear sway bar, next.

All Pro rear bumper w/hidden hitch, All Pro sliders, Rotopax fuel, water and 1st aid storage containers, ANB Fabrication bed rack, Cobra CB, 265/70/17 KM2 tires, 17x8 ATX Mojave teflon rims, OME 886 coil overs, OME 9000 front shocks, OME N182 rear shocks, ToyTec stainless steel extended brake lines, LRUCAs, OME CS 047R Dakar rear leaf springs, 2012 ARB bumper, lights, Warn XD 9000 winch.
I ground off the tire mount on my bed rack and fabricated a stronger one.

This is a tire mount from Tire Rack that I attached to the top of my bed rack using a 10x14"x3/8 piece of steel and 1 7/8 automotive U bolts. The ground off T mount is in the background.

At first, I installed a set of KC Hilites 130W for TW user bellero on his 1st Gen Taco.

Then I went to the shop, started working on mine. Took off all wheels, cleaned them and rebalanced them all (I am such a lucky bastard who can use such shop equipment whenever I want to). Then I took off the rear drums and painted them so they will still look great down the road. Also trimmed my front mud flaps 4.5 in, hopefully no more rubbing against the ground.

I guess this was a good day at the end, now enjoying the beer I got as a paycheck from bellero :D.

I think it is a standard double-din unit, so if the 2008 has a double-din dash, it should fit. I know that the AVIC-Z140BH was not designed specifically for the '13 Tacoma (i.e. it was made to fit in a variety of vehicles), so I would venture to guess that it would.

What bed rack are you using if you don't mind sharing? I like that a lot better then the low ones.
