Anytime between now and when the tire decides to let go on the freeway at 70mph would be good

Finally got my HAM setup. Reading over the manuals and stuff tonight, installing tomorrow and hopefully passing my operators test in 2 weeks at the next exam.

I went with the toytec braided steel. Kind of pricey but I ordered all the "extras" at once, tho not sure if I'll need/use everything yet.

Rugged ridge isolator kit.
Last weekend installed 3" OME lift with Dakar rear springs. Due to the fact that I was getting vibes, coils rubbing OEM UCAs, a very harsh ride on the dakars, today I:

    1. Removed the 3rd leaf of the leaf pack and reinstalled
    2. Removed the .5" Toytec top plate spacers
    3. Intalled the Toytec .25" spacer
    4. Installed new LR UCAs

Took it for a test drive and it rides amazing and no more take off shudder! Getting it aligned tomorrow. This set up still yielded almost 3" of lift.

Was waiting for level Ground but when I took a rough it was 24 front and rear. I think it has to settle agin since I reinstalled the entire thing. Last week when I installed it was 24.5 font and rear. We have at least a 1/2" head start this time.

Thnks again for all your help OZ-t

Put 650+ miles on her. But safly made it to NY in 10 hours, one of the best times ever! Left at about 5:10pm and got here a little after 3am. Its usually about 11.5 or 12h drive. About got blown off the road. Cross Winds were prob 40+ at times. One time I was I left hand lane and got moved half way into the right hand lane.:eek:

Finally got my ham radio installed and working! I installed it to the right of the console, just on the other side of my CB, to keep things symmetrical. Have both mics mounted on the homelink door up on the ceiling.

Very cool device. Since I don't have my technician's license yet, I was just listening to a conversation between two hams, one in Las Vegas and one near my home somewhere. I assume they were using a repeater of some sort, because they were both coming in very clearly. I can't wait to get my call sign and get all the local freqs and repeaters saved.

    Excuse the shitty iPhone pics.
