Oh crap, you can't mix stainless with aluminum?? I used stainless on my license plate holder setup. I should probably change out the hardware

Where did you move the horns and tranny cooler? Very nice fab job on the fuse panel as well, I need to do one of those for when I get my BAMF light bar and BlitzPro bars installed

I did not have to move the tranny cooler. But the horns were moved. 1 horn is bolted to the bottom bolt on the tranny cooler and the other horn I picked up the bottom bolt on the support bracket for the hood latch. If you look close enough in top picture you can see where the horns are mounted. I have a high res picture I can send you if you would like.

a few assholes i work with decided that it would be funny to block me in since i was parked in two spots (way the hell in the back of the parking lot). not able to be seen in the pic: another car behind me, and a broken down nissan on the other side. the flaw that they made.... they left too much room in the front and the back, so i slipped out with no problem.

    No shit.

My '06 Duramax kicked ass. Taco might have beat it to 100mph on a flat road... might have.
    Toss in a hill?

I'd hook a trailer to the thing and tow it over Tejon pass (The Grapevine north of LA) in cruise control set to 70 and it wouldn't even downshift to maintain. Engine pulled all the way up, trans-braking held it to 70 all the way down.

That would be killer... I think I may have to move the tranny cooler when I held the mock up due to the side bar length as I have the LED version for 2 BlitzPro 21's. I was looking at it with Jerry and it really did look like it will have to move.

I replaced a missing center cap and the dead pedal. It's amazing that two pieces of plastic cost $100 even with the body shop rate. I see why they are called Stealerships

I got the paintless dent repair guy at work to fix a really ugly dent on my hood and on the passenger door.

The guy who owned the truck before me was a bit of a dipshit so I had to remove his ugly as hell touch ups with gun wash. It looked like he stuck his finger into flat black pain and then smeared it over several small scratch that easily polished out.

I got a painter to mix up some paint for my truck so I could do some touch ups. I used clear on top of the touch up then I sanded down the clear and polished it back up so they look really good. If your looking for it you can see it in the right light but it is much better than what it was.

After all that I gave the truck a nice cut polish and now it looks nearly mint... Other than the busted fender and rock chips on the bumper :(. Hopefully I can get them painted soon.

Wheels and a Lift coming when my wallet recuperates haha

Well they were supposed to go on this last weekend, but I had to drive to Texas for a funeral so I didn't pick them up until this week. My wife graduates with her Masters this weekend, so I won't be able to do it then. Next weekend we are driving down to Texas (again...) for her family reunion, so I can't do it then.

On the bright side, it should be a pretty quick install. I'm really hoping to have it done in less than 4 hours with the coils already assembled. On the not so bright side, I am putting my stock front stuff on my wife's '07 4Runner and replacing the rear shocks on that, too. With 115k miles on the 4Runner, I'm thinking things aren't going to come off as easily as they will from mine. I'm still trying to decide if I want to knock both out in one day... that would be a LONG day.
