Restrained myself from bulldozing a Honda Civic earlier this evening. Fucker cut me off on the highway and brake-checked me. I would like to thank all the Youtube videos for training me to anticipate the shenanigans. Should the worst ever come to pass, I'll let my bumper do the talking.

Swapped the non variable wipe switch with a variable, and Monday when UPS comes I should have cruise control too!

Meh.. that wasn't a brake check.
He just realized that he was doing 80 after snaking between you and the trailer and wanted to get back down.

Brake check would have been if he had held the brakes and slowed to 55.

Now, why the fuck is that semi in the #2 lane?

f'n hate when they do that, especially when they get over in front of you, slow you down and then get back over into the other lane. Really all that to get one car length ahead?

Very often, crossing the Sierra, they'll move into the #1 lane to pass another truck-they barely pass at a couple of miles an hour. Crazy.

He's fully aware of his speed. Note how he weaved out kept going faster after clearing the semis. Note the GPS speed indication at the bottom is km/h (the Smarty dash cam is from Korea). My brakes locked up for an instant and I slowed to 50 mph. Definite brake check given how much room he had in front (and the Odessey wasn't on brakes).

Where I'm from, lanes #2-4 are fair game for trucks. They very occasionally go into lane #1.

Haha, thanks. Used to driving a Kia Soul, so the word "car" is still in my vocab.

    Still meh.

I deal with worse than that several times every day.

And on the semi, in California, trucks are restricted to the two right lanes. Yes, sometimes they use the 3rd, and sometimes they get tickets.

Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.

Wife got my front windows tinted to match the factory back windows. Well, supposed to match. This among other things made for a great birthday.

So for you guys out west... The passing lane is the right lane? What happened to the rules of the road, keep right except to pass? That's strange. So the trucks have to use the left three lanes?
