What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

I like just wish they weren't too expensive.

 

I got my CB installed and tuned up

 

Installed fumoto oil drain valve model

$32 F-103 Engine Oil Drain Valve

F-103. Been running these for 15 years or so. Makes changing oil so much easier and cleaner.

A lot of people recommend painting the radiator black so that its not as easy to see behind the grill. So thats an option to make it less see through.....

And Homertaco is the best.

 

Painting behind the grill is the way to go, otherwise you have all kinds of silver showing through. I still need to relocate my horns to clean it up some more.

Here is mine finished up and mounted after the color-matching the letters today.

Thanks! I would eventually like to mount some light bars behind the grill above and below the letters. I think there would be plenty of room, but I don't have one to test it out. Pretty sure I've seen it done

 

I have two light bars behind my grill and they definitely wouldn't fit around the letters. If you had the single row 5W ones it might work though.

You should do the three little orange "Raptor" lights in the top of the grill next

 

I really want to, but I have a hard time drilling through Craig's awesome craftsmanship. I've been debating it for a long time.

 

I wonder if you could do them behind the grill without drilling it

However I went with something a little more extreme.

 

You should add some amber lights to the front of your truck, might look pretty cool!
