I didn't(disconnect the battery). Yes i probably should have but it's so easy I didn't even think about it. Once those two side bolts are out there is plenty of slack in the airbag/Horn wires to move it around. I moved and placed it slowly but did not disconnect my battery. It wouldn't hurt though. better safe than sorry I guess.

and no you don't need to disconnect the airbag at all !!!!! That's the reason i was afraid at first. Once i see i didn't have to touch it I felt much better.

Saw you had a supercharger in your signature about your mods, was it a TRD? And how much was it to install, or do it your self?

Yes i do. What a nightmare that was!!!!! I found out about them(because of you guys!!!) after they became extinct.

So it cost me an arm and a leg. No lie, it actually cost me as much as it would to get a new arm and leg....ha
And that was after searching and searching for months to even find one that had the mounting kit with it.

But it is a real TRD one. Installed myself. Had a garage for a weekend and went slow. Brought to Toyota for the flash the next Monday. Came out good actually. Love it. Not necessary but love it. And thanks for noticing

Don't make fun of me but I think it cost me 6 grand when it was all said and done. (I hear installs go anywhere from $800 to $1800 depending on the dealer).

P.S. i also have the smaller pulley on it for a little more boost.

Mine is a fake Pro.. Do't beat me up but I even have the black emblems and on my tailgate is the "TRD-Pro" one.

I figure only people like us really know the difference. So I fool the rest of the world....haha

Would rather have spent the money on some kings. But the wife said to get a RTT so she can enjoy camping this summer. I guess I'm happy with that too :)

On that note..... how much do the trucks rock when people are wrestling in the RTT's? I know just standing in the bed of my truck I can get the thing rocking like a crab boat, I can't imagine twice the weight being twice as high!
