amaqegeq_5448409de4ff6869f93db5ad7cc19495dadffff8.jpgAttempted to fix my 'broken' check engine light (never came on with the key turned on). Replaced bulb and works when it should :)

Also, my clock and ignition switch light only work when they want to. I changed the bulbs nothing...do something else and look over and its on (key ring light). The clock is got a burnt spot in the corner (top right)...it still works if you hit it just right

Possible reason the PO installed remote start keyless entry..super sketchy job..that and the cd player smh

Odd... My clock on my 96 would do the same thing, if I hit it just right it would come back on. Never tried fixing it haha

Your truck talks to you. The remote displays if it's locked, unlocked, if the shock sensor was tripped, inside truck temperature, if it actually started when you pushed the button, and a bunch of other things. One night thunder made my shock sensor activate, and my remote woke me up because it was warning me something was messing with my truck. Not bad.

Complete OME kit w/ 881's and dakars. All-Pro Sliders, CB, HAM Radio and various other minor stuff.
Check the connections for a cold solder. Get a cheap microsope (the hobby shop type for looking at rocks) and check all of the soldered pins. If one or more appear cracked, resolder.

Yup, probably so. Didn't know much about wiring at the time, plus the truck is long gone as I don't own it anymore haha

My local groupon has a remote start system installed for $175. 1 way system though. For a 2 way system the place wants over $400.

Probably not a bad price considering the price of that system with the app and everything. I wouldn't want my alarm tied to my phone though. If you break your phone or it dies, hopefully you remember your valet code. I didn't even know the valet code on my old truck.

So you carry that around too? I thought the idea was to put the remote on your phone...

Took these 2 month old CV's with a total of 5 mins in 4x mode out today

2 fuckin' months !! & both inner boots are torn away from the shafts & the driverside I recovered 3 needle bearings with a small magnet, from the Tripod/Tulip joint that has apparently exploded....

It's a reman. company called DTA (Drive Train Axles), they were a gift from another member , he ordered from Ebay or Amazon or some such,

I checked around a bit for product reviews etc: didn't find much & what i did find was no better or worse than the other companies had review wise & they've been contacted & said they'd replace/exchange them so needless to say I'm not going to bash there products, but if they don't
follow up with replacements I'll have plenty to say
