what is this connector -near interior fuse box left of steering wheel

    humm-I do have a rear 4 prong connector for my trailer lights( no electric brakes of course) which does work

    The 4 pin trailer plug isn't part of the tow package, the tow package consists of:

    Engine oil cooler
    Auxilary transmission cooler (AT only)
    130A alternator
    27F battery
    Class IV trailer hitch
    7 way trailer plug prewired to add a trailer brake control.

    And “supposedly” a different fan clutch.
    The only confirmed difference I know for sure is, the Tow Package fan clutch is Pink.

    The mentioned "converter" is a cab located box that converts TURN & STOP signals to the 7 pin towing harness...In a 2011+ it's inside of the DRL/TURN/HAZ relay. On a 2005+ is a separate box from the DRL/TURN Relay.
