I keep running across this acronym on here and assume that it is some type of tech bullitin for the rear suspension. I have a new 2010 4x4 regular cab. Is this something I should know about?

Sorry to show my ignorance. New to the Tacoma's.

    TBD
Technical Service Bulletin. Usually referring to the new leaf packs put on the 2nd gen tacomas.

Also to save time. use the search option. its easier to find answers faster.

Thanks, I just found more info by searching on it. Just wondering if this TSB for the leaf springs/shocks applies to my truck. From what I understand the 2010 models already have this fixed when new?

    Thanks,
    Chris

No the 2010 models are not fixed of this problem. I have a 2010 trd and just had the tsb done today. took all of one hour for them to do, and even gave me a new set of bilsteins for the hell of it

I just bought a 2010 sport in January and it hasn't had the rear spring TSB done yet.

I'm glad you asked. I got my truck Saturday and have been searching online for about 30 minutes trying to find out what TSB is. I was afraid to get yelled at like in the Subaru WRX/STI forums I use to go into. Thanks !
