I don't fully understand your situation. 30k since you last did plugs? Since you added a sc? Or on the truck total? Do you know what plugs are in the truck now?

I was unable to remove all of my spark plugs with the supercharger in the way so I replaced the torsion isolator and all the seals and put new oil in it. If you don’t know when the last service on it was I would recommend doing it and you will be good for another 100k

You just need a wobble and some extentions. I just did my plugs recently this way. I'm sure I saw pictures on an fj forum showing how to reach the 2 back ones on the drivers side. Will update if I find them. did you use the gm oil? I have the kit just havent gotten around to doing it yet.

Apologies ahead, I’m sure this has been posted, or can be found somewhere (but I’ve been coming up empty). To confirm, spark plug change interval for SC Tacomas is 30k yes?

    Join us brother.
Technically supercharged trucks use iridium spark plugs which are good up to 100k, but most people change them at 30k for many reasons. Like if you run the trd tune your plugs will be dirty from running rather rich.

Hi guys, I was reading this thread and something came to my mind. I'm running the stock S/C iridium IKH22 plugs on my 2011 Tacoma, the problem is that where I live I hardly can find octane higher than 85 and sometimes I can hear my engine knocking, I live at over 11500ft.a.s.l., so you think that running IKH24 could solve my problem? Is there other option? like Iridium long life, Iridium U-groove, Iridium TT, Iridium Racing that can fit our needs?

I’m not sure that colder plugs will help you. You may want to by a meth injection setup. Check out these threads they have a lot of people with really good information

If I were you and I couldn't find premium fuel, I would order some octane additive in bulk to add to the low octane fuel you are finding.

Most of the octane boosters you buy in stores are junk, or hardly do anything. But you can get legitimate octane boosters online. Torco is one brand I've heard good things about.

Not exactly a cheap option but it beats having to run low octane in a supercharged engine. 85 too...yikes.

Anyone with 3.4l s/c an a smaller pulley ran the ikh24? On urd website if running just 7th injector run the ikh22, if running the 2.1 an 7th run ikh24

I personally been running ikh22 had couple sets, need to change them an came across ikh24 wondering if anyone had an experience with these

I’m running the 2.2 pulley so this is why I’m a lil confused they say 2.1 or no pulley

    My setup for reference

3.4l supercharger 2.2 pulley water meth
