You contacted me asking if they were cheap Chinese bearings, of course I replied no they're genuine Koyo bearings. After payment you stressed their source again asking "those koyos aren't made in china are they?", of course I replied again that they are not. Today I received a rant from you on PM about how these acted like "cheap Chinese no name brand bearings" and BOTH failed you in less than 1000 miles even though you installed them "perfectly".
Then you recommend Chinese bearings to everyone

You demanded that I give you back every cent that you paid, while keeping the bearings. Are you kidding me? I offer a service to press bearings, I don't manufacture them. The video I posted on the OP shows the entire process, including the $1300 custom press plate to remove any variables from the process.
"You received what you paid for, assembled properly and with advertised parts."

Now, you're blackmailing me to give your money back and you'll consider taking down these outrageous posts.
You're even lying to PayPal saying that you didn't authorize the transaction. I obviously have plenty of proof for PayPal that you not only authorized the transaction but received them.
    You're trying to steal bearings
    :locked:

    My Process
I use a custom press plate that guarantees a proper press every time by aligning and only applying pressure at the proper bearing surface.

You said nothing about returning them. You were as uncivil there as you are here.
Yes, of course returns for warranty work is acceptable and what I encourage for my customers. You return them, I remove and replace with replacement bearings and return.
I find it hard to believe both Koyo bearings went out within 500 miles from someone so experienced with replacing bearings... or maybe you're replacing them so often because of your setup or you're over torquing them.

How many of these have you sold to satisfied customers since March when you created this thread?

I honestly don't know, probably somewhere in 125 neighborhood. A lot of our friends have asked me to press these for them.

I'll have to change up the OP, present my service differently so that people aren't confused about what I offer.
I'm no different than a shop down the road that you bring parts to and have them do press work- if your bearings go are you going to blame them? They simply pressed it for you, they didn't manufacture or warranty that part. I've made it clear that I only guarantee a proper press. I am willing to swap out your bad bearings, warranty work or otherwise, but there is no such thing as return and get your money back- service has been fulfilled.
These are sold in pairs, I recommend keeping the better of the two bearing assemblies just in case you need to install for warranty return.

I'll even float the idea of you guys purchasing the parts yourself online and having shipped to my address, I do the press work and return to your address. This way you have warranty from the online store for your bearing.

If not for this unauthorized PayPal lie, I'd still be open to replacing your bearings.
You need to realize how you came across to me and what your demands were, I'm not a mind reader. This forum operates as long as people are honest and keep their composure. You don't think I wanted to fly off the handle when someone is writing in large, bold, red letters trashing me? I'm surprised you aren't banned, at very least part of those responses deleted because trashing someone's product is clearly against the rules. But as you so clearly stated in our PM, you're out to see that no one buys another set of bearings from me again.

Let me tell you why this is a bad, shortsighted option.

    Scenario:
You receive a bad bearing, it's pressed on and you have to return it to receive a replacement. You now have to pay someone to remove it for you.
You receive a replacement bearing, great- now you have to pay someone to press it again.

    Bearing press cost.jpg

    The more you know

These companies aren't so nice when it comes to replacing parts. They usually don't cover shipping charges for returns.
    They all have this verbiage:
"The installer must have current manufacturer manuals and must have properly trained personnel performing the installations."
"This limited warranty does not cover bearings which have been repaired or modified or used in conjunction with third-party equipment"
"... must have an opportunity to inspect any part or component subject to a warranty claim"

Unless you guys are ASE certified or have paperwork from a certified shop and these are installed on completely stock suspension and tires you aren't covered by warranty from the manufacturer.

My current, and previously unposted until now, practice would be to do the warranty press work FOR FREE but you guys pay the $20 ride back.
I'm currently the person with the warranty because my name is on the invoice- the warranty isn't transferable.

That's what standing behind your product means.

    I've stated my policy.
I'll accept your return under normal conditions, which include no outstanding/judged PayPal claims.
We can continue with the return process from there.
