Where to find TRD oil filter? And key fob issue

I've been looking for the TRD oil filter for my 2017 V6 (Toyota part # Ptr4300082), I was able to get one no problem at a local Toyota dealer the last time I changed the oil. Now the dealers (San Diego) are saying that oil filter is discontinued and the closest dealer to have one is over a hour away. I heard the Amsoil oil filter, and possibly the Royal Purple, is identical to the TRD...is that true? Haven't had much luck finding either of these 3 filters online, can anyone tell me where I can get one (preferably the TRD or Amsoil, or anything that's just as good)? I'm picky on this oil filter because I prefer it to have the metal end caps, I know lots of people say it's not a big deal...

Question 2: The key fob for my Taco stopped working...the lock/unlock would work 1/3 of the time for a while but now it doesn't work at all. I have the AJT Design fob and never had an issue with it before this. Does it just need a new battery? If so, what kind of battery? (I don't remember transferring a battery over into the AJT fob?)

Question 3: My gas cap door somehow got bent or worn in such a way to where it often doesn't want to stay shut, whenever I open then close it, it will just keep popping open by itself unless I spend a couple minutes pressing on the top and rear of the door to help it stay shut. It's been like this for a few months, and I thought it could have been someone vandalizing my truck and decided to open the gas door and press down on it so the bracket got a little bent out of shape. Not sure how it happened.

At first the hinge was making a dull squeaking sound when opening and closing it, and it got worse over time and has become less and less flush with the fender, as well as the top of the door sticking out about 1/4-1/3 inch from being flush.
It almost looks like water and road debris can easily get in from the top of the gas cap door where it sticks out, and there have been a handfull of times when it popped open while driving, even when raining. Is that something to be concerned about - could unnecessary water and debris make it's way into the gas cap spout, entering the gas tank?
...Because this gas cap door issue has now led to the gas cap itself having a problem. The cap no longer "clicks" when tightening it and I can hear a small part loose inside the cap. The cap still tightens all the way, to where I can't turn it anymore, just no clicks. Haven't seen the gas cap get loose by itself. It sometimes feels like there's light debris or dust in/around the gas cap to where it doesn't open/close as smoothly as it should.
Has anyone else had an issue like this with their gas cap/door? I assume I need to replace the gas cap and the door with the hinge, and drill those 2 black rivets out. Are there any upgraded/aftermarket options for the gas cap door, maybe even the gas cap too? If not, where is the cheapest place I can find these OEM parts, with the factory white paint or not? Should I contact my insurance if this is most likely from vandalism?

Pro filter gone, and not needs, just buy the regular OE filter is your best bet.

I’d try a new battery and/or the OE case.

the gas door needs lubed or the hinges will bind and bend. Often it’s drilled out and new one riveted in place. Sucks.

#2, I have a factory Fob which uses a 2032 coin battery. Not sure about a AJT.

I recently ordered and installed the Amsoil filter on my last oil change and it looks identical to photos I've seen online.

To be fair, there is zero difference between the V6 in a Pro and the same V6 in an SR. And if the ho-hum paper filter works fine in every other trim, then by the commutative property in grade school algebra...:cookiemonster:

Though if this is frustrating, try changing the oil in a Mazda. Their two filters look identical, they are threaded identical, they have identical part numbers except one starts with "1WPE" and the other "1WPY". The difference is that the Y filter has a looser bypass valve thats needed for the turbo, the E is for naturally aspirated. And it will throw a CEL if you get it wrong. :frusty:

TRD filter is gone as said already, that was a topic here a few weeks ago. Just get the regular Toyota filter it will be just fine, or go with aftermarket filters. Wix and Purolator are fine, actually many people have Extreme HATE for Fram but I their ToughGuard and Ultra synthetic oil filter are good, so is Mobil 1.

For AJT Key case you need a T10 or T15 torx driver to open it up. I have an SR5 with chipped key so mine took a 2016 lithium button cell. The push to start takes a larger battery I believe. One thing I had issue with changing mine in the AJT fob was the buttons came out on me and I put the panic and blank buttons back in the opposite locations and upside-down. The look very close in shape but are not. there is enough difference that it caused all the buttons to not work most of the time until I assembled it correctly.
