Buy a Dirt King kit and thank me later. You will not find better fit, finish, performance and service in the industry. I’ve had a TC 3.5” kit, LSK 4.5” kit and this Dirt King kit. I will never buy a different brand again

Camburg makes good stuff, Total Choas is a staple in the name of Long Travel, Icon makes quality kits, all great options, Marlin Crawler is changing the game though.

I heard the marlin crawler lt kit is like double the price of all the other kits available so I wouldn’t consider that changing the game. Haven’t seen anyone running the kit yet either, I would say can’t go wrong with Camburg, dirt king, or total chaos. All those kits have been around for awhile and a lot of guys abuse their trucks without issues.

Gusseting is what you really want to focus on when going lt because of the additional leverage

It will be about 7k when its released, but when you consider you not only get boxed and gusseted upper and lower arms, but also a machined billet knuckle and boxed gusseted spindle, that price is not bad. And that is also for the upgraded, highest end kit, their will also have kits that are just upper and lower arms that will be more in the price range of total chaos. And also, like I said total chaos Icon and Camburg are great quality companies and I would not hesitiate going with any of them either.

This is great to hear! We will be adding those kits to our site soon and packaging them with tuned Fox or King shocks.

Total Chaos has proven to know what they are doing, and it really shows in their product quality and online product descriptions. So far they have been the best to deal with. We have a full line of 2005-20 Tacoma +2 and +3.5 Long Travel Kits online with shock packages.

OP, what year truck do you have?

Total Chaos all day, everyday. Buy it and be done.

Stay away from Solo and Baja Kits (imo). Every person I personally know running one of those kits has issues, and I had issues with a Solo kit.

3.5 go with the big name brands - custom / 4.5 kits you gotta do you research - plenty of guys run solo's xlt with no issues including these guys:

I've got it on my build, hopefully it'll see some action soon... Solo guys aren't your regular parts manufacturers so get ready to forge your own path if you go in that direction I'd say. That said, they've helped me more than the sum of the occasional inconveniences throughout using their product - not speaking for anyone other than me on that (take that as a clear disclaimer). I had a BK kit on my 2nd gen - one of the first people on here to have one. Wasn't impressed when they didn't know the model well enough to inform me correctly about getting softer springs which I suggested, but wasn't listened to. If I had to do it again, TC race kit 2" / 3.5" would have killed the competition if it was out back then.

DK is bolt in - no extra work is needed. If you don't know how to fabricate, you'll have about the same price as the kit again on building shock and upper arm towers for the race kit. How deep your pockets are determines much of your answer.
