Just bought a 2015 TRD Sport and it has a funny noise when driving in a cross wind. I see there is a TSB out on it but it is not covered by my certified warranty. How are you guys who have experienced this remedied it? Is it the inner or outer door seal?

It's a one piece seal that wraps around the door.

Search the forums. If i remember correctly a lot of ppl here used the term "kazoo sound' to describe the sound that was being emitted by the seals. there used to be few threads dedicated to this and some solutions without actually replacing the seal.

Toyota likely used my fix from many years ago on their updated seal. go to the hardware store and get some black 1/4in irrigation dripper pipe line. Cut to length and put in the folds of the seal.

Let me see if I can find my post from awhile ago.

    EDIT - here it is

realistically only the outer two lines in the door seal are needed, middle one not necessary.

I had the same issue on my 2014. Put the irrigation tube in the door seals and it solved my issue.

The kazoo sound is most likely the front windshield top seal that was installed without enough sealant from the factory. Toyota will reseal or when you get a windshield they will do it right. The door seals are another annoying whistling sound.
