Well going to have to bail out on this one :( Ive been fighting a cold for a few days and just dont feel that well. Still would love to meet up another time. If anyone skis or snowboards, maybe we could meet up at a resort and hit up the slopes!! Hope you guys have fun. Snowed a few inches here last night and we are excepting some more.

I want to try and get some skiing in this winter and I know A7XT does some boarding. I'll take a wild guess that pyroskier and brettb go skiing as well.
That'd be a great idea for a meet.

Now it's off to Lander we go!:D

Well it was almost a complete failure. :D It decided to rain for 2 days combined with fairly heavy clouds and snow in the mountains. After about 5-7" of snow I wasn't getting any traction on the steep sections of trail (I assume because of the wide tires I was running?) so we decided to turn around and see what else we could do. Luckily we ran into another Tacoma owner at 2:30am who showed us around and took us to some decent BLM land at lower altitudes.

Very cool! Yeah the weather was pretty shitty all over the state. Glad you guys had fun. Hit me up if you guys plan to head out again. Guys ever do the Poker Run in February? Its up in Centennial, lots of fun. Anyway, hope we can do another meet sometime. Great pics by the way.

Pyroskier and I are going wheeling Sunday the 30th if anyone wants to come. If weather/roads are decent, I know a good trail that runs behind the peaks in the Snowies. If not, we're gonna run some trails off of Happy Jack/Vedauwoo.

If we head for the Snowies we can meet at 9am in front of the Fire Station located on the west end of Laramie as soon as you turn onto WYO130.

If we go to Vedauwoo, meet at the Visitor's Center off of the exit for Happy Jack.

I'm gonna go to the talk to the USFS Friday and get an assessment from them before making a decision on which one to hit.

We have a backup plan in case WYO130 isn't accessible. We didn't get much snow and we're not expecting any more through Sunday. Most of the roads are pretty clear by now. I'm probably gonna mount my winter tires Saturday and see how much of a difference it makes compared to the KM2s in the snow we experienced in Lander.
