On road not terrible. Braking kinda sucks. Friday night, I took that little 462 fire road up by Cedro Peak to Zuzax (to get my kids) and I was very pleased. Crunchy, frozen and snow packed...they did very well.

We should meet up and go bomb around

Sounds pretty legit. Thanks for the feedback. Yeah hopefully once all this COVID shit dies down and we can work a normal schedule again, I can get out to do more shit like that.

Hey everybody. Got my 34s on today. Love the look! My Taco is slow as hell, but damn does it look good

    Question:
I’ve CMCed and pinch welded. I’ve massaged that plastic around the pinch weld and got it shoved back. I’m still getting just the slightest bit of rub in some instances, but I can’t really tell where it’s happening... could be up front. Could be the little bit of plastic on the fender flare on the back. Not sure. Where all did you trim to give these things the most clearance?

Looks great. What are 34” tires? What are they in comparison to 265, 275, or 285?

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
That’s a solid size tire for the truck. I will be going up to that soon from my 285/75/16s.

Yall are all making me wish I'd have gone with these instead of the old-man-responsible AT G013s that I just put on...

Oh hey didn’t know this thread existed. I’ve had my pair on (35x12.5x17) for about 5.5k miles so far. Absolutely love them in all conditions (dry, rain, snow, mud, dirt, etc). They are super quiet for how aggressive they are and have no signs of wear yet

G013's? I think you mean G015's. And don't sell 'em short just yet. No, they won't hang with the G003's in the slop but they ain't highway only tires.

Yeah, those. I read a bunch of good reviews on them both on and off road. 95% of my driving is on road. I'm happy with them so far.

They just lack the secks appeal of the G003s...

I’ve gone many places with AT tires before and they do just fine. Like Cowboy said, the G003s are just sexy looking tires! I got mine for around $200 a tire shipped to my house. I’ve paid way more for mudders before, so this is a deal for me. Plus, tons of positive reviews everywhere.

It's about that time. (Patiently waiting for our monthly reminder of how terrible they are...)

It’s a mud tire. All mud tires suck in the rain once they’ve worn down a bit. Want good wet weather traction, get an all season tire!

Thanks for this. I still feel like they are an old man responsible tire, but I'm okay with that. I'm clearly turning into an old man who likes to go places.

Like @cubie said, I've gone plenty of places with an AT tire. The G015 is just the least aggressive AT tire I've ever run. The last 4 sets have been Grabber AT2s.

...but now that I'm in the Yoko family...and looking at all y'alls setups...there's a part of me that wants the more aggressive look. But then I get in my truck and I hear no road noise and my stereo sounds better than ever, and I'm happy with what I got.
