What is your shop do? If its suspension I will make sure to avoid it. Get yourself a good 3" lift that'll actually function not like procrap.

Well just so you know this is what i Ordered as of right now.

Method wheels 18x9 w/ the correct backspacing... I dont think these are considered a Bling Wheel. The look great on tacoma's and thats y i bought them.

    Also i ordered 4-Mickey-Thompson-Baja-MTZ-Radial-Tires-325-60R18 tires.

This is y i want a 6" lift, there is another guy on here with the same tire on a 3" lift but i dont feel it would allow for alot of movement with out hitting a fender, liner etc.

I customize in Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 8/9/10s. I made a business out of them and at 21 years old its been great. I learned the Trade and started the business on my own.

    This is my personal Car

You know i was looking into longtravel but honestly in this (Chicago land area) it would be pointless IMO. We dont have really anywhere to go where it would be usefull.

Y are all you soo against a 6"?

LIke i said really looking for advice here.

Well then ill never bring my tacoma to you, but if i ever get an evo the story will be different.

And the issue with the 6inch lifts named, their generic, generally with the point of jacking it high opposed to functionality. I mean if all you want is lift, then go for it. But anyone who knows anything about it, will view it as a waste.

It throws out the geometry and is for looks, and previously mentioned not functionality.

Thats why most members run a mild 3" lift, as it severly increases the suspension travel, and performance. Anything more, members go long travel.

TL/DR, the 6" lifts as previous mentioned are for bros looking for skyjacking their trucks, not performance.

hmm well with the 325 tire, is there a 3" kit or 4.5 kit you recommend.

I focus my business on cars, but tacoma's is something im getting into. When i first bought my evo i knew nothing of it, but 2 years later im one of the best on the Evolution form. Time will tell, i have my own path on the business but time will tell.

soo everyone is recommending just go with a 3" kit.

I think i may just do it then, i know some trimming will be involved which will be easy but looks like i gotta spend a little time looking for the right kit i want.

Have you looked into All-pro's LT kit? Sounds like it would fit the bill. It's geard more toward rock crawling and things of that nature, not as wide as Camburg or TC.

I don't know how you are going to fit your 35"s with just a 3" lift. I cant think of anyone on here who has a 2nd gen with a 3" lift and 35's. I wont say its impossible, but i have yet to see it. I mean most guys rub with 33" tires and 3" lift before any trimming. I know i did with that setup.

IMO no need for 35s or more than a 3" lift UNLESS you spend the majority of time off road and on tough trails. A 3" and 33s are more than capable. The rest is the driver. Go over 3 and you open the door to a whole set of potential problems
