What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

This weekend: added a couple of OEM D-rings in the front of the bed. Changed oil and filter, and lubed the drivetrain. The engine always made a ticking sound for the first few mintes when it was cold. This morning -- after adding the Mobil-1 5W-30 -- the tick is gone.

 

Nice! Maybe I'll see you around one day. I have a Specialized, Boston Whaler, and Niner sticker on my back window.

No problem, but read the whole thread, I think it was less than most posters thought

 

Installed AFE airbox on my 2012 by re using and modifying the stock airpump bracket, rerouted the wiring
harness so I didnt need too extend the harness.

I called AFE and they wouldnt sell me their bracket so I did it myself!

 

No pics, but rotated the bar under the pass. seat, to gain room for an Alpine PDX-M6 amp that will soon reside under there, to power my new Sundown Audio SD-2 10" sub for the pass. side. I already have one PDX-M6 under the drivers' side to power the drivers' side sub. I followed this write up, and it went smooooooooth.

Finally wired my D2 Rigids, and, ..... THEY work!! Honestly very easy hardest was enlarging the hole in the dash for the switch I used. And fixed my tailgate. It was jammed shut turns out I forgot to reuse the rod clips when I installed my pop n lock a few weeks ago. All good for now going to order a tonneau and possible a light bar. I ordered my Avid light bar a week or two ago.

Have any pics? I used to run Nokyas in my other vehicles and they looked great, had good output, and lasted a long time. I took all the HIDs out of my truck, they were blinding.

 

Added Dyno-Lock tailgate lock this morning.Works great with G4 Elite cover.

 

Not a direct shot but you see the white and the yellow of the beams. I never have to use mi highs because they are bright enough in tandem...

Both my sets have lasted almost 2 years and still going... my first set went bad cause they would get wet due to where i mounted.
