So you're around E-7 or E-8? Must be tossing around the idea of retiring.

    Effin' sweet!

OCTacos lines don't require you to modify the bracket, just add a little more bend to the stock retainer clips.

    Yeah E-7. Doubt I'll see 8 before I retire.

Lift is 3/4 done....then just tightening things up. Biggest pain so far has been the UCA bolt. Not looking forward to the 2nd one.

I'll post my numbers in a minute. Rough numbers gave me about 2.5" all around though.

What did you put up front & what did you get?
885s on 90000 Sport Nitros gave me 2.5" w/ 1/4" top place spacers.
What did you put in back & what did you get?
Dakars gave me 2" w/ tonneau, my stock leafs only had about 1,000 miles on them. Recently had the drive line vibration TSB done.
If you got Dakars on a 2nd Gen share your measurements with OZ 2nd Gen OME Dakar hub to fender measurements ([IMG] 1 2 3 ... Last Page)
    I'll get to that later.....
Are you running trail armor & how much lift did you loose or what did you do to regain/maintain lift?
    No armor or bumper
Tire & wheel specs & rub or what you did to eliminate rub.
265/70/17 Duratracs. No rubbing yet. Already removed small front flaps..
Are you still running a sway bar?
    Yes.

anyone had creaking issues with the OME bushings in their Dakars? I HATE it. Yeah I know I can just take it apart and re-grease it but seriously, I have better shit to do.
Considering swapping to another bushing. Recommendations?

I was in the process of trying to find your squeaky Dakar thread, Oz.

I'm sure i'll be needing it in a couple weeks.

    Thanks.

BTW, seems the lift cured my truck of driveline vibes. All I have on there is the carrier bearing drop, no shims. I had vibes before the lift, now they seem to be gone. Hopefully it stays that way as it settles some.

Took about 7 hours for everything, except the brake lines. Haven't put those on yet. We definitely didn't rush either. Luckily it was smoothly for the most part. Those UCA bolts were a bitch though!

The CV boot splines (or whatever you call them) are barely touching each other so hopefully they won't fail any time soon. I didn't get as much lift as some folks. Not sure why. Rides really nice. Now I just need to find a place that'll do my alignment for me.

Remember when this all started how hesitant you were to take on a lift? You did good

And the fact that this lift chased away your vibes is a bonus.

So you only got 2.5" with 885's and the top plates installed?

Yeah, I didn't get quite as much lift as some people are reporting. I definitely could have went with the 1/2" spacers in the front. The Dakars only gave me about 2" of lift as well. I need to double check my actual measurements for the front but I'm at 24" in the rear. I'll do another measurement this afternoon.

You did 885's AND the 1/4" top plate spacers and you only got 2.5"? That's odd... I got the same 2" from my 884's and with the 1/4" top plates I would be sitting at the same height as you.

Interesting... I've got 1/2" spacers and was thinking of going to 1/4" instead... Everyone gets something different! Now WTF do I do??!! :annoyed:

and only 2" with Dakars?... Hmmmm
