Radio shutting off

any body see there radio turn off while playing then turn back on ? Happen to be acouple times already

What's the cause?

 

Crappy engineering, just like the rest of the 3rd gen.

You could try to update it with the entune app and see if that fixes it

 

That's so stupid , truck cost so much and isn't built properly

 

It's not every single one. I've had mine for almost a year and it's only rebooted once early on IIRC, and I do update it though the Entune app every once in a while.

It's also got an OEM Audio Plus system on it but that shouldn't affect the head unit and that's only been since April.

It IS an issue for more than a few however. Especially in the rain of all things.

I think I've seen a few threads where Toyota replaced the HU.

 

i think its dumb you signed up for a forum and dont work it properly
