I have both, and no way would I give my 2015 up for a 3rd Gen.The newer ones are nicer looking inside somewhat, but too me my 17 is not built as good.

I just got a 3rd gen and I'm liking it as much or more than my previous 2010. The 2010 was great for towing and I haven't tried that yet with the new one so jury still out for the final say.

Yea- I’m sitting here at the dealer right now going over what my trade in is worth and what my payments would be. I told them- I’m in the market, but not in no rush to make a purchase.

I was in the same spot. Even created a thread on it. Love my new truck so far. Happy I did it. The unknown is if I'll get 13 trouble free year's like my last 2nd gen.

I just bought a 3rd gen yesterday and so far I think it rides better than my 12 TRDOR. To me it doesn't seem any bigger in the cab (which is good), my transmission seems to shift fine. It's nothing to turn cartwheels and jump for joy over but it's not bad. Seats are way more comfortable than my 12! It's not even close. Air conditioning seems a little weak but again my second gen wouldn't freeze you out either. Don't worry about Toyota safety sense, you can turn it all off and it stays off. Mine does at least and thank God because I am plenty happy not using any of it.

I liked my 2015 OR, I love my 2017 OR!
I'm one of those guys who likes the added Crawl control (because I am not an off road warrior nor do i have the ability to practice much here in RI) but it's there if I need to use it. I also like the interior and overall styling over the '15. The shifting has never bothered me and it has improved with a TRD intake and a couple ECU updates.
I'm happy to have moved up from the '15 to my '17.

Traded our 2005 Sport in with a blown headgasket for our 2017 Sport back in November. First month or so it was weird, drove different, felt different. Next three months it felt about the same as the old one. Now it's great.
I climbed into my bro-inlaws 2007 and was super happy to have the 3rd Gen..

I like my full size, fully loaded, 4wd, independent suspension Honda Ridgeline better than my third gen

I have a 2nd gen, 2006 Taco access cab prerunner. I dont like how the access cab doors open. They are annoying in parking lots, and are hard to get things in/out with the doors open. If I could do it over, I would have got the double cab instead, and got 4x4 as well, but thats just me. Otherwise, I love my truck.
