    Hey @svonavja

Sorry to bug again but could you direct me to which website you used to order the male and female connectors from? I found a few websites but they come off a bit shady.
    Thanks

    i have a 2007 tacoma.
i am about to take this on and id like to verify where the AC wire would go in my new A33 connector. right now the pdf says the GREY AC wire goes to pin 16. Since i have an 07, the AC wire would go to pin 13 instead? thanks for any help TW can provide ;)

Have you been able to get this to work? I've tried multiple times with mine and nothing. I always had problems with either blowing fuses, ac stayin on but once turned off it would never turn back on, etc. I've been trying to do this swap into my '08

Anyone have an issue with the LEDs that illuminate the rings not lighting up? Everything else is working perfect after the swap. The AC and air circulation lights are working fine. Any insight would be appreciated.

If you do this, you may need to switch two traces on the hot/cold control, else when you want cold air, you have to put the dial on hot and vice versa.

Yup! Make sure the harness/terminals are making contact. If I remember correctly, the - or + illumination wire wasn't seated properly.

Looking at tackling this mod. I noticed there are two P/N’s for the HVAC Controls on the 12-15.

    55900-04070 - Glossy Black W/ Bluetooth
    55900-04090 - Matte Black W/O Bluetooth

I want to make sure that either one of these will wire up without issue if I purchase. Does anyone have insight on this?

    Thanks in advance.

I have enough parts to make 5 more harnesses. Message me if interested.

    what's the point of this?

12-15 black panel seemed to connect directly into my '08.
But, after that vents don't seem to blow as well as before

You put a '12-'14 climate control in your '08 without a harness or soldering and it worked? I really want to see how you did that :)

yeah I don’t get it either. I expected the plug to be different but for some reason it plugged right up and turned on. It’s like piano black. Said 11-15. Got it off eBay for like $40-50.

I know this thread is old but thanks to yall I was finally able to do this mod! I’ve been keeping an eye out on a control unit for like 2 years now and someone had on on marketplace at the same time someone else was selling a harness. I had to do it lol just put everything back together and tested her out, it’s good to go! And yes I wanted to stick with grey so I trimmed the faceplate tabs and the 4 screws seem to hold it all down just fine.

Looks good and congrats! I've never seen those knobs before, who makes them?
