    I'm in carmichael, but don't know have all the tools needed. anybody have a garage or work in a shop that can help me out? my buddy said he'll do it when he has a free weekend, but that's in 3 weeks. i'm kinda impatient. i just wanna install my spindles and billies with eibachs

    Here's a question for all you Sacramento people... just out of general curiosity. I had a vendor on this site make me an item out of one of MY designs. I sent him a file with exactly what I wanted, and gave him the dimensions I was looking for.


    Now, about 5 months later, I just found that he has started to produce and sell items that have the design that I made on it. Should I ignore it? Or tell him to knock it the fuck off?

    He has yet to sell the "Tacoma" emblems, but has apparently already committed to selling a front skid plate with my design on it. What should I do?

    Hmmm, hard to say. I would be nice if he had asked your permission. Was permission to use if ever implied? What are you looking for as being the "creator" of the emblem? Do you want acknowledgement?

    For what it's worth, I know exactly how you feel. There's a pretty successful toyota parts vendor around the forums that I designed a logo for a long while ago that changed it just enough to call it there own. I was surprised when they first used it and was a little peeved about it, but really, it wasn't worth the effort to make a big deal out of it. Just know that it's yours.

    I'm already starting. You created the design. He made it. Now, if he has sold it to other people, and you have a poor mans copyright, or he does not deny your ownership to the design, you are entitle to some of the profit.


    Lets just make an example, since I am a photographer. I go take a photo, I want to print it. I go to walmart. Walmart does not own my photo, walmart merely has permission to print my photo.
