Whats up fellow TW forum members! I am new to the this forum, but not to forums, cars or trucks to say the least. My name is Josh. I am originally from Florida, I am 22, and live on Oahu. I am in the United States Army, and love it out here! I am a die hard Mopar guy, and my past 4 vehicles have been as such. 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x4, 2005 Flame Red Dodge Neon SRT-4, 2005 Electric Blue Dodge Neon SRT-4, and the car I just sold only a few days ago, a Bright Silver Metallic 2006 Chrysler 300c SRT-8. I have a friend that used to post on this forum alot, Viet2100, he is a fantastic photographer, and I consider him a brother. He used to post pictures of my cars on here a lot. I always said if I was going to get a truck, it was going to be diesel so I could go off road and still go fast, and the only diesel I'd buy would be a Cummins, but diesel prices out here are RIDICULOUS, and having a big 1500 series of something would just suck gas, and be a waste in my eyes. I started looking at the smaller - mid size truck category and I remembered how reliable my friend Viets truck was, yadda yadda yadda, and here I am with my 2006 Silver Tacoma TRD Sport. I absolutely love it. I just might do a motor swap with a 5.9 Cummins, that would be the PERFECT truck! lol. I will post some pictures when I get the chance! Can someone link me to the fog light mod thread, and the Hawaii thread?

Sweet! Your truck looks sick in your sig! :D

I bought my truck from a Navy guy stationed out at Kaneohe! Will you be bringing your Tacoma out here?

Haha Thanks man, your truck looks quite familiar, I feel like I've rode in it before

On another note, is K point pretty much the only place to go off roading out here? Is anyone in here suspension savy? I have a 2 in lift on my truck, Im still getting used to the lingo on here, but it has a silver block on top of the shock in the front, and i dont know where they are in the back, but when i make sharp turns or stop abruptly, it makes a clank, or thud sound. any ideas?!

Yes sure will. I actually bought the truck the day I got my orders because I didn't think my Z06 would be very useful in HI. My wife and I plan on doing lots of hikes and beach trips.

Thats all I do out here! I'd love for you to join my girl & I!

That would be the ultimate truck, wouldnt it? I'd put a Cummins in just about anything haha. I wish our military trucks were Cummins powered, some of them are, but the Stryker's aren't. They're CAT powered w/ an Allison tranny. Still a good setup though!
