I dont think you will lose alot of ability to carry weight, you still have both overloads to help once the bed is loaded. Your rear end might sag a little more with the 3rd leaf removed compared to the complete leaf pack, but you should be able to handle 700 lbs no problem, might have a little bro lean tho with the quad in back.

 

ok good to know, I just 2 second ago pulled the trigger on the Dakars and 5100 extended travel shocks. I'm beyond pumped to install everything! I hoping im not let down with the lift the 885x's give me, im doing the 1/4 inch spacer on both sides to try and give it a little more of a boost. judging by looking at these pictures I shouldn't be let down.

 

TACO LEAN! You might want just one spacer on drivers side, or 1/2 on drivers side and 1/4 on passanger

 

looks great man your truck is coming along nicely
get some bamf lca skids to protect your cam bolts...its well worth it trust me

Are you running trail armor & how much lift did you loose or what did you do to regain/maintain lift?
No trail armor.. yet. Planning on adding a rear bumper with swing out tire carrier, front mid & diff skid plates & possibly a front bumper eventually.

Tire & wheel specs & rub or what you did to eliminate rub.
Are you still running a sway bar?
285/70/17 Tread Wright Guard Dog M/T's on SCS Stealth 6 rims (17x8.5") I had minimal trimming to do on the front bumper, fender flare behind the tire & a little massaging to the inner fender well. Look's like I'll get away without having to do the cab mount chop

I removed the sway bar during the lift installation & the truck drives great on road, with the new tires as well.. just keep two hands on the wheel

Stock UCAs? I have pretty much the same setup with LR UCAs and had to do the cab mount chop with 285s on scs stealth 6's

 

Hey guys im looking for some help, I recently installed OME 885 and nitro shocks w/ stock uppers and threw on 285s. The ride is great on and off road but the issue is it sounds like my suspension is loose!! More specifically when hitting large bumps, heck even small bumps, it sounds kind of like the suspension is either bottoming out or compressing too much?!? It is coming from both sides. I read on another thread that some said it might be the stock control arm drooping too much and hitting the spring but I dont see any evidence of this...

The sound is severe enough to where it sounds as if i jumped the truck and landed hard but that not the case! even driving down a wash board its like *bump *bump*bump*bump... so annoying.

Oh and the shocks were preassembled and I did the install myself.

 

Is your sway bar contacting the coils ?

 

Forgot to mention but Im not running with the sway bar.

 

Do you have any pictures of the suspension?

 

Is it just me or does the top of the driver's side coil look weird , like there is a gap at the top front ?
