That is a good place to start reading. I bought mine from cruiser outfitters since they provide a tacoma template vs the hilux template. The snorkel is technically for a hilux but it works pretty well for a 2nd gen. I installed it myself, and grand total it was probably 8 hours or so.
The snorkel is great for more than just fording water, improves mpg's and reduces debris in your air filter. If you want to get it for water you will need to put dialectic grease on all of your electrical connectors in the engine bay, reroute your diff, transfer case, and transmission breathers, and swap your fan for an electric one.

    hope this helps!

    I'm not sure you'll see a big change. It's basically a CAI

I recorded a 2 to 3mpg increase right away. The airflow one looks good but it's relatively new so I wanted to wait for it to be proven. (not that I could swap to it now heh)

Sooooo... When we going to try out the new gear? How are the mountains looking nowadays? I personally like the wheel and XXX option.

I suppose Stampede Pass is a blanket of ice still?

If you don't draw blood, you're doing it wrong!
x2 Congrats on the little one!

I like the idea of doing a Meet 'N Eat sometime soon, and then hitting some trails in the near future as well.

Removed the dealer tag holder…that’s it.
I'm in Lacey, count me in for the Meet 'N Eat. I'm only up here for a few more weeks, then off to school for the summer.
