There is actually a trail called Tip-Toe Behind the Rocks that bypasses all the hard stuff. Makes the trail a 5 rating instead of a 8+. It's for pussies. ;)

j/k. Nobody should ever feel like they need to go beyond what they're comfortable with.

Going up steep gnarly shit doesn't bother me as much as free falling off of stuff!

Devin and Kevin are. However, both are quite seasoned wheelers with vehicles capable of the trail. If you want/need specs I'd be glad to PM you with them.

I may try to do Moab Rim with you on Friday, and I'm a Moab first timer. I'm kinda undecided right now. Been too busy working on the truck and haven't had time to do any research or sign up for any trail runs:eek:

Behind the rocks is and amazing trail and a must.

This trail is doable on 33's with full armour. Ben is going to do it and hes not armoured in the front or rear. Though he'll bypass high dive and maybe up chuck.

    this is correct.

You dont need to take the bypass trail.. just run the entire damn thing.
Also hummer hill is a fun one to play on..

probably through prior trip reports from various sites.

some of the trail descriptions within http://www.4x4trails.net/ have trail time mentioned within the description.

there are a few other sites mentioned in the first page with trail descriptions.

i know the trail books mention time normally, but it doesn't look like many online sources have that disclosed

    gotcha in there

    No biggie. I'm just curious.

as for Moab Rim. here's a nice short video of Dirtco's 4Runner going up Devils Crack and up and back down the Z-turn. The first two obstacles on the trail.
