Looks good but tou forgot the info
What did you put up front & what did you get?
What did you put in back & what did you get?
If you got Dakars on a 2nd Gen share your measurements with OZ [IMG] 2nd Gen OME Dakar hub to fender measurements ([IMG] 1 2 3 ... Last Page)
Are you running trail armor & how much lift did you loose or what did you do to regain/maintain lift?
Tire & wheel specs & rub or what you did to eliminate rub.
Are you still running a sway bar?

Yeah the weight is still there. I'm currently running 3deg shim and OME CB drop. This combination has eliminated all vibes except a nasty "take off shudder" from 5-10MPG. This is driving me crazy though!

i feel that sometimes too, my set up is 886's with 5100's at 0" in the front and OME N182's with a 2" block and 1.5" aal in the rear, also have the OME CB drop, gonna upgrade to dakars this summer i think, i had to replace the entire driveshaft because the vibes ruined it, this was before the CB drop install, since then everything's been golden

That's really odd. Have you checked the CB and U-joints for play/wear and tear?

Is it obvious which end of the Dakar's is the front and rear? If you get them from Wheelers they only have the bushings in the front, right?

They're the same for drivers and passenger side too, right? Seems like I read that somewhere.

    Yes

They are not side specific on the 2nd gens but if you get a mixed " + " " - " pack , stick the " + " pack on the driver's side

Alright. When it gets here Monday I'll unpack it all and give it a look over. I'll probably have 100 more questions before all is said and done. Definitely the biggest vehicle project I've ever undertaken.

Oh yeah, and I asked Wheelers about their super bumps and if I needed them. He (Dan) said they basically compress to the stock bump stop height, so I didn't need them.

The bump itself compresses the same but the tower raises the bump in the rears , no ?

Doesn't sound like it. He said it wouldn't make a difference.

I'm telling you the tower raises the height of the bump stop

They both compress the same amount but one is 2" higher due to the tower

Interesting that they don't mention that. I was prepared to spend the extra money to get them but he didn't seem to think I needed them.

But, if that rubber on top is soft and compresses a lot, I could see how it might compress down to about the same height as the stock bumps. Maybe just a little higher.

    See my pics above

I'm just saying that the Wheelers bump is situated higher due to the tower
