    totally worth every penny :D

was so glad when I got mine done

to get it done thought I ordered the fully loaded 4 runner ebay mirrors and plain jane taco mirrors, the bases to the door are completely different and the aftermarket DO NOT use the same bolt up as factory. so you have make the the two into one, fairly cheap for the mirrors through ebay, like 200 bucks total is all I spent, than a few bucks for the rav 4 switch and some wiring and a relay

Thanks for reminding me I need to start/finish my heated mirror project before winter.

I have motorcycle handgrip heaters and a time delay relay. I'm going to wire it to my defroster knob in the truck so when I turn the defroster on it triggers the relay which stays on for a minute. Might have to flip the defroster on a few times to get enough time for the heaters to melt the ice, but it should work.

    interesting

cheaper than the 4runner mod for the heated mirror aspect of it...

i'm liking the under light on the 4runner mirrors...

not a fan of the blinker in the mirror, but the heated mirror and under light features are bad ass
