You don't need to remove the door panels. All you need is a T-30 torx bit screw.

Remove this cover on the side of the door.

Then you can access the T-30 torx bit. Loosen it up(don't worry about the T-30 torx bit falling, it's held by a retainer clip) and the handle should easily be remove.

For a DC, you need to remove the door panels on the rear doors.

I had to remove the door panels and relocate the door latch during the intsall to be able to get access to the torx bolt for the rear doors.

That's I didn't know. I'm just referring to the fronts.

Here's one for a double cab. More work then an Access Cab :D

Just bought a color matched grill, can't stand chrome. Not sure what to do about the chrome bumper.

The thought of shelling out $300+ for a color matched bumper is hard enough, shelling out $500 for a plate bumper is incomprehensible right now. Never been a fan of the tubes.

The nice thing is the plate bumpers are a lot harder to ruin. The factory bumpers may not feel that flimsy, but trust me they are super flimsy and really easy to destroy...

Powdercoat it. Got mine powdercoated white for $100 and it matches perfect and has held up really well.

That sounds like a good option. Thanks for the tip.

Installed the same catch can as Detective Dan on a "custom" bent 1/8 inch steel flat bar from Lowe's I had lying around.

My truck is white like yours but with the standard cab. I don't want a four-door-sedan truck but your access cab looks about perfect to me and the extra room would be a cool thing. I'm sorry now that I didn't chose the access cab.

But I think the white-on-white would look less truck-y or something - too show-truck for me. I think your truck looks very purposeful just like it is. And now that I've seen it - it makes me want to paint my bumper and grille to that super-black combo that you have. Mine are sort of dark gray or something. Now I feel like my truck would be embarrassed if it saw yours. <g>

Tell me about your lift in front. The scale of tires/wheels and lift looks great.

Sitting at a red light and an idiot tried to make a left turn into oncoming traffic. Hit one car and slid into me.
