Locking Beep

My other vehicles had confirmation beeps upon locking with the remote. Does the 07 have this? I am sure I am asking in the wrong forum. So if someone would be so kind. I am sure this is covered or groused about somewhere else so flamers cool your jets. Just point me in the right direction. Thanks!

I attempted to set my alarm for passive arming as stated in the Lock Chirp Programming and could not get it to work. If you have any luck let me know. Good Luck overstock!!

 

The beep would be cool but I'm more intrested in passive arming. I was washing my Taco the other day and went inside for a few hours, when I came out she was still unlocked. I thought the alarm would re-arm after a span of inactivity. My & my wifes cars would lock automatic after 30min. I have the alarm.

edit: our cars would lock and the alarm would re-arm after 30min.

 

I got the factory security system upgrade on mine, and it either honks or flashes when I lock or unlock.

 

yea not all systems even the factory ones do the chirp, because not all tacomas are factory equipped with the piezo buzzer, this is what i found out....

AAA will give you a credit card key for your wallet for free in California, I thought the doors locked after you got up to 4mph, I could be wrong!
