    Full OME suspension (885 front springs, Dakar leaf pack + OME shocks) + D29XL extra leaf + 3 deg. shim + RideRite airbags
    I did a bunch of searching but could not find a thread explaining how to do preventive maintenance on LCA's (seizing of cam bolts). Would appreciate if somebody could point me in the right direction.

    Thanks! Your post should be made into a sticky, looks like a very common problem.

    Just got my 30K mile maintenance on my Taco (as well as other stuff under warranty) and when the mechanic started doing the alignment, they noticed one of the bolts was seized. They are ordering another LCA under warranty but I wont have that option next year so I'll definitely start lubing the cr@p out of em!

    Alignment shop said once they are seized it's replacement time. I asked about applying penetrating fluid and he said it wouldn't work.

    so far, URD throwout bearing kit(sleeve), weathertechs, 285/70/17's on Ion 17x9 and OME 885s and Dakars and nitro sports. BHLM
    Just did my lower bushings and Moog cam bolts last week. Complete pain in the butt and took several evenings after work to do it. Get some good hack saw blades, have a good vise and a big hammer. I replaced ball joints while I was at it. I've also got 2 more sets of Moog cam bolts I'd sell someone. When I ordered them I was under the impression the kit was 1 bolt and 2 washers so I got 4 kits. The kit from Rock Auto comes with both bolts.

    @DoorDing , @high voltage taco , How much "persuasion" is required if they aren't seized and does the LCA need to be supported while removing the bolt? Trying to do driver side, but don't want to be too forceful. They may need to be cut... Might have to order a kit or two.

    Cam action works. I just want to remove them and put anti seize on them. BFH is ready for action - tapping gently isn't making the first one move.

    The driver side makes a pretty gnarly noise when the suspension moves abruptly and I figured this would be a good place to start from for chasing the noise.

    It's only moved about 1/16 inch so far. I'll just beat it like it's my :censored: and see if it moves. I'll post results.

    I was wrong. What I had mistaken for cam action seemed to be some flexing in the bushing. I think they're seized.

    @high voltage taco , still have those bolts?
