Got hired to Take pictures of a rad truck for the owner, I guess he got a deal on the grill if he had good pictures taken so that's why he hired a photographer I think.
Not a Taco but hey, stopped and watched the sunrise at Tahoe too on my way up to meet him.

Had a long New Years evening, like every install things we're fighting me and I took time to make sure I did everything correct...
Also got rid of the gold outer rim and painted the wheels satin black, I went with satin because the flat paint I had in before attracted dirt so bad and held it...
    But here's some pics

Removing the old crappy plastidip off the roof and hood was a pain in the ass, had to soak it and goo gone and scrape it with a card for forever.... and drilled and siliconed holes for prinsu
    IMG_6144.jpg
    IMG_6149.jpg
Wrapping because of the bad sun fade... truck lived in Vegas and Reno all its life, I don't think previous owner waxed as much as he should of, as a detailer this fading bugs the sh"" out of me so I'm wrapping it to midigate further damage...

    IMG_6157.jpg

    Punched weather stripping for prinsu
    IMG_6151.jpg
    My list haha
    IMG_6158.jpg
Wiring the switches and backup camera/ Bluetooth mic
    IMG_6160.jpg

For final results see first post in thread!
Had many headaches but everything is cleaned up and in tip top shape!
Also put in the d ring hitch receiver and saudered the over head temp gauge! Pumped that worked! Hasn't worked since I bout the truck haha

Can't wait to throw on the 40" single row and cutout fairing for prinsu rack!
Then I will probably detail her for the Yosemite and Arizona / Utah trip coming up!

Auto zone dupli color, if you sand, prime, like 4 coats of color, and some clear then wet sand compound polish it, it looks pretty close to factory haha

Sweet. It sounds a little more time consuming than i expected, but i'd rather not have the chrome surround on my grill.

    Tacoma Yosemite pics

Katie had got a groupon to stay in a hotel at fish camp in january, but on our way the rain was so bad that it made a mudslide over i80, so we rescheduled for march. (she works wed-sunday so we have to leave on sunday after work (around 4pm) So we took off and it just so happened to be another bad snow storm, I80 was closed all morning then they changed it to snow tire/ chain control about an hour before she got off, so I had everything packed and prepped and when she got home we took off, took us about 3 hours to get to sacramento, basically doubling our entire travel time (I joke we could have gone to the Tetons haha) but we made it to Mariposa around 12 (I had a camp site in Yosemite Valley Upper Pines but they cancels all reservations because of falling tree danger.. got a refund) We were going to sleep in the shell setup anyways so we found a comfortable spot and went straight to bed. Woke up and went into the valley and stayed for sunset at tunnel view which was great. Then headed for fish camp, we had to go all the way back out to twin pines because the road going to the hotel was closed because of construction, so again a half hour drive turned into 2 hours because of snow/ construction. Stayed in a awesome hotel (I would go back) and then ate breakfast and started for the Bay Area, made it to BAMF around 2 then went home to Reno! It was a quick trip but necessary before I have finals and fire season starts again! Ill add more pictures as I edit them.

today I had to remove my window tint up front, got a ticket for it being 6% when legal is 35%....
also there was a squeak from front passenger for a while, thought it was brakes, replaced brakes and rotor and it was still there... squeak stopped and changed to grinding sound, no bueno.. well I took pff the wheel and the rotor had a ton of side to side and up and down play, cv, steering, ball joints were all fine. removed the rotor and it was obvious that it was the hub bearing(when moving it by hand, the bearing feels terrible), now i search to get a new one.
