How you likin CaliRaised Slider so far?
I’m also eyeing the 0 degree w/ fill plates (Line-x sounds good).

I like them a lot. And the new mounting option for the fill plates is way better than the version I have. I do actually wish they were like a 5 degree slider. It's silly, but sometimes they look like they are angled down because of the way the body angles. As a step for loading stuff on the roof they are ideal, which is how I use them 99% of the time.

But I have also banged them pretty good on some rocks so they've already paid for themselves for sure.

Thanks! BAMF slider usually costs more but with their current 25% off it is tempting to go with theirs 10 Degree (12 wks wait). I’m digging the CaliRaised fill plates lil more.

I don't think you can go wrong with either. The BAMF sliders are killer but the lead times are painfully long. CaliRaised definitely did their homework on the design of their sliders and the build quality on them was top notch in my book. My only complaint at the time was the way the fill plates attached but with their new system it is so much better.

ADS installed! Right now I have about 1 9/16" on the driver side preload and 1 3/16" on the passenger side. That puts me at right around 22.75" from hub to fender, and about a 1.5" rake. I've got the 700# coils installed, but I'm waiting to see if they settle a little. If they don't, I may lower the preload down another turn on each side. I ground the corners off the front of the brackets to clear the bumper brackets too. Ironically, I think they would have cleared because ADS has them spaced about a quarter inch out. My guess is that with my luck if I hadn't modified them then they would have rubbed and made noise.

Right now I've got the clickers set to 3 back from the firmest setting in the front, and 3 back from the open setting in the rear (my bed is relatively unloaded right now). They feel great and I'm really excited to be able to use the compression adjusters to account for different terrain and load scenarios. The handling with this new suspension is also so much better. I didn't realize how much body roll my truck had with the previous suspension, but it legitimately feels liek ! I also had some cupping on my rear tires indicating that I was underdamped in the rear before. Hopefully those will even out over the next few thousand miles, otherwise I'll be forced to get new tires.

Yes. Four small holes for each. Side note, don't count on the self tappers ADS supplies being strong enough to self tap through the frame.

The truck is awesome, I follow you on Instagram and i'm loving the space you've got inside the shell. I have a snugtop but I'm trying to make the most of the interior. Question, how do you like the X-bull recovery boards? They're pretty darn cheap on Amazon but if they work I think I might get myself a set!

I couldn’t tell but did you go from the Bilstein 5100 RCD rear shock into ADS. How does the flex compare? Also any changes to your bump stops when you switched to ADS? I’m getting the same ADS setup as you!!

    freaking awesome setup btw

    Thanks man! Followed back ;)

The X-bulls are totally adequate. I've used them a few times and was surprised how much flex they took with no apparent issue. HOWEVER, they don't stack for shit. I mean, yes you can stack them. But compared to the MaxTrax, two X-bulls stacked together is like 8 MaxTrax. It doesn't really matter my my setup but depending on how you mount them or store them that could be an issue.

Thanks man! I did go from 5100's to the ADS. I haven't had a chance to really flex them but I think they have a similar amount of travel so I expect they will be pretty similar. I kept the same superbumps I had from before. They have been awesome for me. I'm sure hydro bumps are amazing but I'm not there.... yet :D

Congrats on the new setup! You're going to love it!

Thanks! And okay that’s good to know, I usually chuck things in the shell so not stacking isn’t a deal breaker for me. For that price point I’ll probably get a set!

Just a little word of advice. I have the same traction boards. The one time that I used them I was stuck in a giant puddle melt off of snow. So there was a layer of snow then ice, under the ice the ground wasn’t frozen so it was nasty mud. Broke through the ice layer and it was over. Pulled the traction boards out and stuffed them under the tires. Both of them disappeared when I backed out of mud the mud. Found one and if it wasn’t for my buddies perseverance I would of left the other behind. Tie a bright colored rope to them for easier retrieval

Wondering if you might be willing to give some feedback on your water tank.

Yeah I’ve heard of people losing them in sand and whatnot. I think the maxtrax come with leashes.
