my o9 access cab with 115600 miles on it, needs a wheel bearing in the front replaced on right side.. Im just wondering if this is something I would be able to do myself to save some cash. or should I just have a dealer/mechanic do it? I know I would need a bearing press.

I got a quote from a mechanic at around $1100.oo to replace both front wheel bearings. should I replace both? or just the right one.. are wheel bearings easy to replace on my own without much trouble? what would the down time be?

Buy the pre pressed wheel hub/ bearings first then standard assortment of sockets minus a bigger one foe axle nut and a pry bar. To take the hub out. Also a rubber mallet too.

Easy job, do it yourself. Bamatoy sells a great product to make this an even easier swap.
