they also might not have adjusted the rears properly when they replaced the with frame. probably worth checking out. also, on certain corners my front D side abs kicks in but no lights, I need to recalibrate the VSC

just make sure you actually have VSC first hahaha it was optional in 07

i don’t think I have a vsc as I never seen the light or slip indicator light or auto LSD light

It’s a 2007 Trd sport it seams to have every other option. I do have a LSD rear end hummmmm

I haven't seen those lights on either when my shit acts up but it only started after my lift so im assuming that's what the problem is. its only on this certain road on the way to my trailer, there are two sharp bends in the road and when im going faster then like 50 around the corner, but front D side abs turns on but no lights pop up haha im not too worried about it since it is only on those corners, but im going to recalibrate to see if it helps. im not to sure how to determine if it has it or not but I know I have it. there is a thread on here somewhere that outlines all the different systems

well I would say no to VSC hahaha ur lucky. its a love/hate relationship between me and VSC lol I will be adding a ABS kill switch

Ok OK the suspense is killing me i need to share it with the two people who read this foolishness

 

It was a Diesel lighting plant, that was turned into a generator that probably ran for 100H and started to smoke real bad. The guys onsite turned it off and said there was no oil in it. It was shipped back to the shop and it did have oil in it not the correct amount, it "looks" like the PCV vent came off the top pan and might of been putting oil out on the exhaust. Turned it over and it has low compression, the head came off and one of the cylinders has a few scuffs in it. So work said write it off I get to keep everything except the trailer ..... If i can get it working what a backup generator for the house or the cabin.

 

I was hoping you were going to say diesel swap for a Taco.

Back to the brakes

Sometimes when I start my truck it makes the ABS sound
This makes me think the block under the hood needs to be bled.

When I did the rear brakes I also changed the rear hard lines and the flex line to the axel. This was apart for a few days while I sourced parts.

I bled the brakes but this ureaka moment makes me think that I need to do the “special” abs block bleed

 

I going to assume “special” means really hard to do and super annoying.

 

if you have access to a really good OBD tool, im wondering if it can blead itself. I did it on a jeep not long ago, blead them normally but felt wrong. plugged in a OBD tool and put the jeep into bleed brake mode. it pressurized the system itself, told you to open the p side front and it pumped itself out. did the back and good to go. it was both cool and weird. didn't ask for you to do all 4 corners.
