2.5 inch suspension lift front with rancho 9000 quick lift struts, rear rancho shock absorbers with 2.5 inch sky jackers add a leaf springs in rear. extra 2 inch long braided front brake lines with radiator flush, transmission flush, brand new front brake rotors, calipers, and shoes all done myself. more to come
I am curious if there is a mid range replacement Crankshaft in between OEM for around 750.00 USD and a Brian Crower full blown stroker kit for 6300.00 USD?

I am currently rebuilding my 07 Tacoma 4.0 4x4 engine from the ground up replacing everything with OEM or better parts. I have it tore down to the block and waiting for the shop to open their new store here in Alaska and I will have my heads/throttle body and lower intake manifold to get ported and polished, those are just a few things I am doing out of the dozens others. Main question is the Crankshaft atm. All the other parts are on order coming in over the next few weeks on snail mail.

I am also going with Molnar rods also. Another question is, should I do “Hypereutectic pistons, or 4032 Forged?

I’ll probably end up going with Forged pistons. I’ll probably end up getting a set from Molnar Technologies along with the rods. I wish the made a Crankshaft as well.

How is the build going? I'm shopping for a used motor to do something similar. Any lessons learned would be helpful. I've read Torspd and GT7 info. Very impressive builds.

Would it be safe to say the best and most complete kit is Brian Crower?

Easily. LC Engineering said they would source one from about 2k-2200.

My prior post was about all of the other rotating parts. To get them from one source.

Maybe @Torspd can let us know if the pulley is aligned off the crank gear or the crank key?
I haven’t done one myself. If it aligns of the gear, I don’t think you’d be able to even start it on unless you have it aligned incorrectly?

Look 2 post above, in the guy named @Torspd signature.
He has links to N/A and F/I dynos.
Or click the “Click here” button below.

BTW, there is really too many variables to answer your question.
It’s going to come down to tuning, and the parts you choose.
