Wow, I have had nothing but top notch customer service with Allpro and all of there stuff. I ordered my Fox racing shocks (front and rear), UCAs, skid plates, expidition leaf packs, and more from them and all were shipped fast, packaged right, and set up perfectly. I would just call and double check they have parts in stock when you order as they do move a lot of stuff so whats in stock one day might not be the next.

I love my All-pro expedition leaf packs. They really give a lot of lift with no extra weight in the back and actually ride quite well. I came from Toyota 4 leaf TSB pack + Toytec AAL + 5100 and the ride now is better than it was then. I just towed a u-haul trailer with a 400+ lb motorcycle and the back didnt even drop a millimeter when it was hooked up.

I really like and have abused my Dakars on my 05. I do however need to add the D29XL AAL since I have my steel rear bumper with tire swing gate and my ARE cap. They need a little pick me up, i figured for 27.00 per side it is not a bad upgrade at all.

I'm also looking to replace leaf springs and add 3" lift in the rear....this thread is great.

I'm going from stock rear shocks and springs to 3" leaf pack. Should I go for the longer version of the 5100s or go for 5125s....or something else (Icon v.s. 2.0)? And do i have to worry about brake lines and bump stops???

yes you have to get longer brake lines or some guys just make custom mounts to relocate the stock ones....to take advantage of the 3in..rear lift you should go with icons if you have the money or bilstein 5150's or 10in walker evens racing shocks...icon is top pic if you have the cash

No need for extended brake lines for 3" lift. Any higher and you will, yes.

This is true , I tested mine with a pretty serious flex , more than I would ever do driving it , and I had quite a bit of slack in my stock brake lines with my Dakars

thx for the info. Another questions for AllPro users, why choose the expos over the standard leaf pack? I'm leaning towards the standard since I want about 3" of lift and don't plan on towing or carrying much payload, with the exception being my quad a couple times a year. As i understand the standard will provide a better ride than the expos when NOT under load.

So far my expos ride great and I am very happy with them. I do tow regularly (Boat, motorcycle, quads) and will have a canopy and armored rear bumper with swing away by the end of the year so that should bring the height down by a little bit.

I came from 4 leaf TSB with Toytec AAL and I think my expos ride even better with no weight on them at the moment.

    Yep.
Wow, your lines have way more slack at flex then I have seen with mine  My lines are pretty taut at full flex; has made me kinda nervous actually. How many miles/heavy loads do you think you have done with them OZ? Ive got about 45k on them and have carried some serious weight a hanfull of times.

To stay on topic though, I have had only one complaint about the Dakars - Squeaking ALWAYS comes back

Lots of heavy loads and 200 lbs full time with my cap , but I seem to remember you got a lot more initial height out of yours .

You see my squeaky Dakar fix that worked for me ?

    Yep.

Ah yes, I forgot about that. That would probably explain it.

Nice fix! (+1) I'll have to give that a go once I get a free day. Might try a little epoxy to hold mine in place. Drives me nuts when stuff squeaks! I've only had issues with the leafs and my left TC UCA over and over.
